Hands on Percussion

I have been playing drums and percussion since 1969 influenced by many different bands and types of music over the years. I have always been very interested in the recording process and the music industry. 

In 1976 I was a student at a Milwaukee, Wi recording studio. I learned very much at that time and things have changed dramatically over the years which I have kept up with. For many years now I work as a graphic artist at Hal Leonard (the world's largest music book publishing company). I am also very much involved in playing drums and hand percussion. I play many different types of genres including: blues, country, reggae, funk, folk, pop, rock, smooth jazz, etc. As an online session percussionist I have played on different types of songs from around the world including: Austria, Ireland, England, Australia, and in the U.S.

At present I play percussion in an acoustic trio — The Front Porch Rockers. The music we play is best described as Folk Rock/Pop from many decades and original songs too. Check us out at www.frontporchrock.com or on Facebook.
